Hello,

I purchased an American Marine Pinpoint Ph Monitor and am having problems calibrationg it. I first opened it, cleaned it off with water and put it in the 7.00 solution. After 5 minutes I adjusted it to 7.00, cleaned it off and put it into the 10.00 solution. After 5 minutes I tried to change the reading but it did not adjust when I turned the dial. It also stayed at 7.28.

Anyone know how to fix this? Is the product defective?

There are two screw dials, one you adjust for the pH 7 buffer, the other is adjusted for the pH 4 or 10 buffer solution. Did you adjust the proper screws?

When the probe was in the 7.00 soultion I turned the dial with 7 on it. When I put the probe in the 10.00 soultion I turned the probe which had a 4 10 on it. Did I do something wrong?

Nope, sounds like you did it right to me...maybe a faulty meter or probe then...
