Hi this my first post on this form. I'm A long time monster fish keeper. Due to going to college late I had to take apart my fish room (a converted two door garage to aquarium room). I'm currently maintaining only one 360 gallon tank highlighted by a 27 inch silver arowana and a 14 inch African tiger fish. Have a good one and I'm looking forward to reading more posts from this site.

In the about year and a half that I've kept them both togther I have never seen them fight. I have got other schooling fish that school with the ATF. While the arowana has surface water flows that keeps him busy one at each end of the 360 gal. And sorry I have got any way at the momment to post picture of my ATF. Possibly later though.
Since I can't post a photo (I haven't got a digital camera that I can make sense out of) I'm just going to describe what my ATF looks like. His body is starting to grow robust in the front to middle part of body and is not nearly as slender as when he was a baby. The back dorsal tail has become increasingly tall and the lower half is turning red. As well he's horizontal black line on his body that were hardly noticeable as a baby are becoming more vivid as he matures. The only thing that seems underdeveloped are his fangs/ teeth. I'm going to start feeding him thawed prawns with their shells intact and see if the extra shell material promotes more growth in his fangs/ teeth.
