I just read a post where one of the members here talked about a 270 gal. tank on the third floor of an old building surviving a tremor. That's something I would hate to have to worry about. Have any of you lost a tank to an earthquake? Just asking for conversations purposes.

Can't say I ever endured any earthquakes when I kept fish in cali. Did however endure some wicked heat waves. Air conditioner bill SUCKED!

During the Northridge Earthquake. My friend had a stereo fall on his head and a 20g tank break over his legs.

erm, i was thinking you be asking "Does fish act as warning devices for earthquakes?"......like maybe the fishes be all like trying to jump outta tank prior to an earthquake?
