California Getting Hammered

We are getting blasted by this storm, trees down, heavy rain, Heavy snow in the mountains, winds of 80 mph. I am on dial up cause power has been down for two hours, running both my tanks filters from my Jeeps inverter and extension cord. I think I need to go buy a generator, as this is going to last awhile.

Watch out for power outages!!!

I suggest that everyone who is worried about power failures get some hydrogen peroxide handy. You can use this to reoxygenate your fish tanks. Just use 1/2 teaspoon per 20 gallons of water.

Another helpful hint is to place warm bags or jugs of water in your tank to maintain the temperature!!!

Dayum, 101 is shut down and several bridges, its gonna rain for a week straight they say.

In mountain view here on the way to work which ended up getting canceled we saw a street sign which had been bent to the point of sheering in half cause of the wind

I have 15 of the neigbors trash cans in fron of my house from the wind, not a good day to be a trash man.
