Thanks Davo. I was surprised when he bit me, he was really calm in my hands and then all of a sudden I felt some pressure on my finger. Little bugger wouldn't let go either, had the put him under a tap and the water got him to let go.

just a little bit have a pic of that somewhere, will see if I can find. The one that's drawn the most blood from me has been a newly hatched garter snake. That was back when I was about 9 or 10.
