Anyone know where sharkdealer is? emailed twice and no answer. I'm looking for a large male Cal. Rd. Ray any one know where one is that can be shipped or I'll drive a few hours each way if needed.

I would even like to try a couple of Atlantic Rays if they would be hardy. i see they can live in water in the high 60s no problem. Anyone ever had one on here?

I have a california Brown Spotted Ray, I got her from my LFS... they can order them if they use Sea Dwelling Creatures as their vendor. Typically they aren't over $100

Thanks for replying. I have since found a place 1 1/2 hours from me that will have 2 in for me next week for 40.00 if I get there when they pic them up from the airport or 50.00 out of there tanks and he get mature adult size 7-9" so I'll see how that works out. It's a place called Hiddenreef up in Beach Park, IL. and the guy that owns it (Hector) is a decent guy.

personally, get them in the orginal bag so it's less stressful on them.

Agreed, getting a little excited for tuesday but I might have a let down if they dont come in.

I have had the pups away from their mom since they could not compete for food. Now they are nearly 4 months and around 4" across. Would they be alright in with the mom in the big pond? I was afraid of dumping alot of food in there just so they could get a fair amount, or should they stay by them selves for a while longer? Hoping zoodiver will get in on this.

i don't see why not... myself, i always hand fed my rays just so there wouldn't be any fighting and I could make sure that those that are smaller could get more if they needed it. When i worked at the pet store we had 6 rays in our big tank one time and I tell you it was always my favorite time of the day when I would feed them.

the pups havent been feed much by hand yet (actually only my daughter does when she comes over with the granddaughter) so i dont know how much trouble it would be to do that in the big pool. I have been thinking of selling them, could use the $ for a big skimmer.

how deep is the big pool?
