California Saltwater rays

So who heard about the injuries with the people who are swimming in Huntington Beach that are getting stung by the saltwater rays? Please comment

I have fished there since the early '80's. Probably just small sting rays.Not very pretty. Just brown top/white bottom. Not too interesting for a tank.

Just moved to Orange County few months ago and haven't started up fishing yet. But I hear lots of stingray come during the summer at Seal Beach port. Gonna try it cause I want to eat one to see what it's like lol

There are several types of marine rays off that coast. Could be any number of them.

Almost certainly Haller's round rays Urobatis halleri. A couple other species occur here but they don't interact with humans(get stepped on) as much.
