Call me crazy...

Every year my sister's fiance's parents have a new years party, well, they live on a lake and the house they usually let us stay at is right on the water and they have a good sized dock out back. Guess about 10 years ago when the lake was drained some they built a 'reef' out of tires that holds a lot of bass.

Call me crazy, but i'm planning to get up around 7:00am on the first and go out and give it a shot for the first bass of the new year

Anybody else got any plans to get their 2011 fishing year off to a good start?

have to wait in idaho, river is frozen. excellent small mouth fishing here.
