okay hopefully i got your attention!

though unless ya checked my profile, many might not know i am an artist..:( and i have a problem....

i am trying to find out if protomelas spilontus liuli has egg spots? and are they lemon in color.....
problem is my references, all of em, arnt really showing eggs spots to speak of, and normally africans have rather distinct ones...
i have a tshirt commission and i have him sketched out, but i am puzzling over the fact that this fish, seems not to show distinct eggs spots!
so i am calling out to my buds here...please? anyone have a ref photo that shows his anal fin so i can figure out if he has em or not?????
i cant start painting this guys anal fin till i find this out! :WHOA:

No they do not have egg dots on the anial fin only blue and white.

so far from what i have tried to find out....there seems to be maybe tiny white ones, but they are very insignificant, hardly there on most....and speaking with my customer again, he seems to feel the same way, and trusting in me to do what we have seen in the references, so maybe just a tiny suggestions and nothing else, which means basically hardly anything..eggs spots are one thing that doesnt change once the fish has matured, unless the fin had been chewed down and regrown....i just hate not knowing for absolute sure....normally i try to keep my fish shirts exact to what would be a prime specimen...doh!...

but thank you all for responding...greatly appreciated!!!

and there aint enough of this gorgeous fish around on the web to see good examples! i think i will have to convince hubby that this has to be the next fish we acquire....heheheeeee
