Most of you have seen all my ATFs but there is one that I'm yet to get a definitive ID on. Only thing I know for sure as of now is that it isn't a GATF, VATF or a TATF. And some of you have told me that he is a FATF but it really doesn't look like one. Please help me ease my mind once and for all. Here is a pic of the 4 types of ATFs I have currently.
1: FATF (9.5"), 2: GATF (7"), 3: TATF (7"), 4: UATF (7") (unknown atf)

1- agreed

2- agreed

3- appears to only have two scale rows between the LL and the pelvic fin insertion, making this fish VATF.

4- general shape indicates either batf or fatf, but the pic isn't clear enough to really count scales. That being said, it LOOKS like 3-4 scales. That, combined with the shape of the head and the position of the eye, strongly indicates brevis.

Thanks chicx! Here is a hi-res pic of the guy:

Nope, I was wrong. The hi-res pic clearly shows only two scales, you've got a vittatus and a forskahlii there, along with your GATF and other FATF.

Thanks a lot for helping me with this. I have read the ID stickies but I'm always confused while counting the rows of scales between the LL and PF.
