Idk but hes a fatty

looks like the Columbian catfish(black fin shark) it will end up needing to be in a brackish tank(if thats what it is)

It does look rather like it brakish will pose a problem eventually. Could it be a salmon tail catfish? they look basically identical. I only suggest it as I live in oz and apparently there native.

Alright, changing my answer, lol. I think it maybe a Salmon Tail, comparing the dorsal fin; where the Colombian Shark/Catfish has a 'higher' dorsal fin, and a Salmon tail has a 'shorter' dorsal fin. (Like the one in the pic)
Just what I saw from comparing the two, lol.

haha they do look very alike. hmmm now I just have to work out what to do with over half a meter of catfish. Might be an excuse for a bigger tank :D
