I was curious to know, how rare (in the Oscar world) are Long fin/veil tail. I ask this b/c I have only seen 1 in real life and none of the oscar owners I know localy have one. Even my LFS owner said "yep, once in a blue moon we will get one in". I have even tried to find them online, and I found 2 postings from the same guy on Aquabid, and one site that actually had a "buy it now" option but was out of stock. So, simple poll to see what everyone thinks. Remember this is for the Lonfined or Veil Tail variant of Oscars.

there one in my lfs he is really cool if i had a bigger tank i would have got him. :D

depends on your location but they are pretty common someplaces

Yea it appears that way, I guess if a local breeder has a good strain going then the LFS's will buy them up and they are nothing new.

I've never seen one for sale over here
