Does anyone know anything about Spider Conchs? I live on Guam and have the pacific ocean as my source of saltwater critters. Today I picked up two Spider Conchs about 5 - inches. I also picked up a baby moray eel. The Spider Conchs look cool but I can't find any info on them. I have them in a 20 gallon quarantine tank. I was wondering if they were any good in my fish only 80 gallon tank. Anything would help.

Not much info on live ones, lots on just the shells, couple of species the most common of which seems to be Lambis lambis, it is a popular see food and gets 4-8" long. they often partly bury themselves and move around in sudden jerks using a strong curved claw. All the spider conchs are vegetarian and feed on seaweed.
