So my lfs stoped doing freshwater now i do have a saltwater tank but freshwater is my main area. SO i was wondering if any of you knew of good lfs by mokena. Plese dont say petco of Petsmart

Been a while since I was there (around 5 years or so) but there is a place in Chicago called Tropicana Living Things, its on the corner of Archer and Pershing on the south side.

The owners name is Joe and while he can be a tad pr&^ky he does know his stuff and always has (had) truly exotic and unusual fish as well as the standards. And if he didnt have it he would find it for you.

ya see this fish store was right down the streat from me that is the worst part

capture the sea in tinley park, the guy has very exotic stuff and as long as you know what u want and know what you are talking about your all good. animal island in midlothian, he has everything from small cichlids and other small fish to over 2 1/2 foot tsn and rtc. Has many big tanks and is very very cheap.

Im not really by mokena, im on the north side of chicago. What are you looking for? I often do the LFS rounds up here.
