i have a 12 inch albino oscar, he is in a 180 gallon, with 2 plecos a 8 inch florida gar. and 2 16 inch ID sharks, He is really calm and doesn't bother anyone the more i read the more i see how he should be more aggro and not be in the tank but he is completely calm and just minds his own, could he be sick is this normal? or is he just a chill guy?

Probably just a chill guy. Attitudes vary greatly with oscars. I have had a few that were just calm and cool and one I have right now is an absolute beast.

I've always seen oscars as being a pretty mellow fish, at least compared to some of the other large cichlids out there. Most of the ones I've had are pretty passive toward other large fish. I doubt there's anything wrong with him. As long as he's not being bullied and he eats well, I'm sure he's fine.
I believe with oscars and almost any other cichlids you can expect all different types of attitudes and behaviors. As with my one small jack Dempsey is a truly great aquarium fish as he or she is just completely mellow and not aggressive towards anything. On the other hand my larger jack Dempsey will attack anything and everything that hits the water! He is a complete douche! He even goes after my 4" Oscar and the Oscar won't take his crap lol he attacks him right back! And I have seen them on at least 3 occasions jaw locking!lol but expect different behaviors with all cichlids. That's the joy of keeping them as pets lol
