Could someone share a little info on the personality of Altolamprologus calvus? Once they've settled into a tank do they hide all the time or are they out and about? Are they interactive at all (like many SA/CA cichlids)? How bad is their conspecific aggression? Finally, how many do think I could house in a 65g tank (36" X 18" X 24")?

Depends on the fish some are out constantly some you will never see. Some will be punk of the tank some will run the tank. Highly aggressive toward own kind mine always pair and push others away

my black calvus was out and about alot and was real peaceful...slow grower so a 65 would work for a while.
