has anyone tried mixing calvus with peacocks. i have a tank that is mostly peacocks with a few other less aggressive Africans and was wonder if i could get away with adding a calvus to the tank. i know they come from different lakes but will it work i really like the white calvus

My brother has done this before. He had black calvus in with some aulonocara hybrid species from a lfs and it was very peaceful in a 40 gallon. Go ahead and try it, it would be a cool mix in my opinion. You never know until you try. By the way, what kind of peacocks do you have?

I actually have Calvus in my tank with peacocks and a couple Vics. They are great...They don't bother anybody and no one bothers them. They are out in the open all the time. I would say go for it.

Should be just fine in most circumstances. Go with what pleases you as long as the fish aren't suffering.

If all fish play well w/each other, got for it.
