So, I have had a heck of a weekend with fish keeping. Not only did some ghost shrimp I got for my stingray bring ich into my system, but also it seems they have brought some camallanus worms as well. I haven't seen any fish affected by them yet, but I have scooped water out and had 4 worms in it. It seems like they are in one of my sponge filters, hopefully not both, as my main tank crashed over the weekend as well and everyone is divided up with minimal filtration.

With all of that being said, I am limping along here and finally have gotten my motoro pup where it is eating consistently and gaining weight, now I am wondering if I need to start looking into treatments for the ray for camallanus worms or if they are not affected by these like fish are? Right now the only thing the ray would eat is cut up earthworms and live ghost shrimp, guess no more live ghost shrimp for him.

Anything I need to do to try and prevent the spread of this? I am hoping my other tank with my Geos isn't affected, they don't act any different and I don't see any worms swimming around in there tank. I went ahead and started feeding them medicated food for internal parasites though I am not sure if that will help or not..

Thanks as usual!

As a side note, his poo looks completely normal, different shades of brown, no stringy white stuff.
He is eating very well still. I don't know that he is infected or if the tank is, either way I assume I need to treat. I did an 80% water change on his tank tonight and did an 80% change on my other tank as well. Went ahead and ordered some Levamisole Hydrochloride to treat both tanks. I am hoping I accidentally caught this in the very early stages. I have only come across 5 or 6 worms so far after searching through both tanks with a flash light.

Also, I assume Levamisole H is Ray safe? Anyone ever used it for treatment before?
