Came home after 3 days, saw that one of my pirayas fin and tale was eaten, the fin 60% gone and the plate is also gone a little. I'm sure that my 9" ternetzi caused this. I have them on a every other day feeding pattern and that extra day delay caused a major problem. I'll post up pictures tomorrow. Piraya seems to be fine, just chillin in the corner.. I had a weird gut feeling last night about something going wrong and I was right about it. :(

You're still better off than I. I went on vacation and my cousin left my tank light on for 2 weeks. I came home and my $350 Flower Horn and all my other big fishes died. My tank looks like the swamp of those Souther States - Algae was growing everywhere.

One of my redbellies got half of its dorsal fin bitten off about 2 weeks ago. All the way down to the white meat. I didn't thing that it would grow back since it was bitten down past the meat but it is. Hopefully your fish's tail will rejuvenate also. Might wanna keep them seperated for a couple weeks tho. I'm sure he's much slower without a tail and is prime candidate for another attack. Good luck

Yah I was thinking the same. I'll seperate the injured one to my 20g spare.
