Came home to this?!?!

I literally just walked in to my house and the first thing the hits me is the smell of death. I run to all my tanks, and its my smallest, a 30 gallon that I had as my apartment indoor pond. My gold fish of 5 years, (little 12 cent feeders I got attached to), floating.

My heater heated the water to 105 F.

I'm about to see what all boiled. Pretty sure everything. Will update shortly.

I'm so pissed.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. When i was a kid a bad heater killed all my goldfish, too. Bad times. Now that i think about it, they really didn't even need a heater...

Yea i know they didnt really need one, but I thought since we keep the house at 66 at night and I had thrown a few guppies in to make some snacks for our puffer and it was workin great just had 5 new babies on Thursday. Boo.
