and as for the last pic....that just turned my tummy inside out and im pretty sure im having a panic attack lol

The top one's real and makes them look bigger than they actually are (but still a hell of a size)

Second one is likely photoshopped as i don't know anyone that stupid (even me!) Camel spiders aren't against munching on people.

Forget the stupidity aspect of it....We don't know if the guy is drunk, not all there, etc.

Just look at how the legs are. The spiders second lowest leg is bent. He is putting weight on his "knee". A couple other legs are like that too. If he was truly on the guys face, at that angle, he would be worried about sliding off. He would be gripping tightly with his "feet".

Valid point. They're supposed to be 'dry' countries but drink does get through. Can't see any shadowing either like can be seen on the left hand side of the guys face.

Okay, the second pic isn't photoshopped, but it's also not a "Camel spider", it's a harmless pycnogonid, more commonly known as a Sea Spider.

Also, people here do realize the Solifugids have no venom and apart from pinching slightly, are also quite harmless?

How'd you manage to find one of those over there? Those boys have a bad reputation and not much known about them last time i looked them up. They get much bigger than 4" and i'd sleep terrified at night if it ever escaped!:WHOA: A lot of the stories that came back from the gulf about them are slightly over exagerated but they're still extremely scary and do take on scorpions.

they also live in the southwest of the USA and i found him running around the floor in my living room and i decided to catch it instead of smashing it, i see them around every once in a while

they are none venomous, but they will attack you if they feel threatened and its a bite more then a pinch

Seriously, it's a 3" long bug...about as bad as being pinched by a crayfish (and yes, I've been bit before).

terrifying, and there is a shadow in the second pic on the guys ear.

i wasn't saying that it would rip off your arm if it bit you i was just saying that it eats lizards and scorpions so its jaws must be worse then getting pinched by a crayfish, it could depend on how much you pissed it off that it would bite you hard or not.

Better mouth pics...notice the "jaws" are massively enlarged, when compared to the chelicerae of spiders and scorpions.
