I'm looking for the best camera I can get at Bestbuy for less than $150. Any ideas of what to get or what NOT to get?

i use the cannon powershot.. and it comes out with some decent pictures.
 
I used Nikon S210. It takes nice shots but it blurs a bit for macro shots which is really the downside otherwise I could have taken a pic of my nerites' eyes perfectly.lol
 
I bought a Canon Powershot A590 IS for less than $150 at Best Buy right after Christmas. It's decent. It takes cool videos too. 8 mega-pixels, 4X optical zoom, , and 8X digital zoom (if I remember correctly) Shop around though. And......they only come with the crappy 54K memory card, so you'll need to upgrade to a better card. It takes decent action shots. Whatever you buy make sure it takes decent action shots or your pics will be blurry or whatever you are trying to take a pic of may not even be in the frame by the time the camera reacts!
 
i just got a great deal on a kodak z712 IS and it got great reviews try that
 
Check CL. I just got my daughter a camera that was like $500 or more a few years ago for $50 and it looks new. If she was here I would ask her what it is. She wanted a more professional looking camera. She's 14 so I wasn't going to buy her a new one at that price.
