Looking for a good camera website to pick up a new camera. Looking to upgrade from a Nikon D60 to a better one. So, please give me a clue to where a good camera website is. And if your selling one better then a Nikon D60, PM me.

I want to stay in the nikon family. So, any websites or suggestion on a Nikon?

Thanks

What's your budget? What improvements do you want to see over the D60...ie where is it not getting the job done?

My budget will be around 2k, I'm looking for a all around camera. Indoor, outdoor, land scape, far distance shots, etc all around everyday use camera.

I was thinking about the Nikon D90, then i heard that Canon 50 is good as well. Not to familiar with canon, and isn't a Nikon D90 a step up from a Nikon D60?

Or is it best to buy a kit then just buy lenses for the body?

If you get the 90 you'll be able to get some older less expensive (but still great) lenses. As far as performance you can get a bit more out of the 90 compared to the 60 but it really comes down to the glass and the person in charge.

I have a D60 and have just acquired an old series E 50mm f1.8 lens it has to run totally manual no AF or metering and aperture on the body but, it really helps to learn about your camera and is very sharp not a versatile but very sharp lens and cost next to nothing.

what lens you got on your D60 ?

I have the lens that came with the camera, 18-55mm lens. nikon D60 is a hard camera to come buy now, I think nikon discontinued the nikon D60. So, i guess the D90 and a few lenses is it then.

What lenses would you guys and gals recommend? Don't really know about lenses. budget would be $800 for at lease 3 lenses. Close up, mid, and long shots.

IMO it would be better idea to buy lenses first before you upgrade your body. the 18-55 kit lens aint great IMO. maybe give the D60 a run with a better lens, could get some nice glass with the cost of D90 kit. Then upgrade if the D60 still don't deliver.
