Cameta Yellow Discus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes, they are mine. I have a second pair but they are not quite as nice as this one. I keep each pair in their own 55 gallon tank. The temp. is kept at 82 degrees. Filtration is simple - a sponge filter along with an external power filter. They get 30 percent water changes twice a week. I feed them a variety of foods including, frozen black worms, frozen blood worms, frozen mysis shrimp, beef heart flakes, spirulina flakes, Tetra color granules and live earth worms.

Absolutly beautiful specimens. Great job, I love them.

Thanks everyone. They're not only beautys but they don't mind having their picture taken, unlike this pair of Uatuma Semi-Royal Blues. They huddled under the wood once they saw the camera approach. This the best shot I could get of them.

Nice work!! My favorite wilds have solid colored bodies w/ striations in the fins. Good overall body shape too & fish appear thick!
