Hey there, a friend of ours just bought this little guy which he calls Chomper and was woundering if i could tell the sex so i thought id come on here.

I could tell you how to evert the hemipens (sorry I'm not concerend about spelling), but its a very delicate procedure, and really I dont think there is any need to do it unless you need to know what sexs you have for breeding. And yes you could probe too, dont worry about.. Plus caimen, crocs, and gators stress easily.

I could tell you that caimans and all crocodilians dont have hemipenis like lizards or snakes, they have a single normal penis like Quelonians And mamals

very right... my mistake, well to clear it up, I was shown how to evert the pener (penis) on baby crocs using hemostats while working in a zoo, we had to sex a crap load of Philippine crocs..sorry my interest arent in crocs too much... so there lack of knowledge shows LOL, thanks for the correction thou
