Camping mat under a glass bottom tank ?

I'm in the process of building my own stand .

It's a rimless tank and I was wondering if a camping mat would be enough just to take out the small impurities?

Styrofoam is usually the go to product for between glass tanks and stand, and besides that, what are you going to sleep on next time you go camping!!

Yep, should be fine. Basically anything with a bit of give to it. I've heard of people using camping mats commonly and even some people using towels.

perfect thank you. Just a bit nervy using a camping mat but i have seen a few people using them.
