My 2" GT is in my 29g high tech planted community tank awaiting the move to the new apartment and her new 55g home in about 3 weeks.

The high tech method of keeping the plants requires me to add nitrates to keep the nitrates at about 15ppm. Will this level of nitrates for the past month and 3 more weeks stunt her at all?

The tank gets weekly 50% water changes but nitrates are added into the tank.

Thanks!

i'd consider that low nitrate levels for a fish

15ppm is nothing to worry about for most fish, and should not harm a GT at all

Cut back on water changes, and you shouldn't have to add nitrates?
(25% a week, 50% every 2 weeks)
