can 2 arowanas co-exist?? (newbie here..)

hey dudes.. just wanna ask a question...

im new here.. once i had an 18" arowana.. but that was waaaayy way back, so now i think im pretty much starting over..

so the question is...

can 2 arowanas share 1 tank? i mean, they're just about 6 inches.. i have a 75 gal tank...

yea, i've seen lots of pictures and vids with 2 arowanas in a tank but are there any tricks i should do? are those cases just coincidental or sumthin?

can they coexist??

Yes they can but it is purely luck whether they do or not. It took 3 different combos before I had two that would co-exist. My atempts were all with south american aros, not sure what works with asians.

yes they can, but make sure your gona get a bigger tank cuz they will outgrow the 75g.

is it a good idea if i add 1 or 2 gold fishes of the same size in the tank?? i've read sumthin in the net that they will show less agression to each other if they have a "target fish" in the tank???

It depends sometimes it can work sometimes it can't like bderick said depends on luck just don't mix jardinis/australian/pearl arowanas with each other.What kind of arowanas are you getting?

oh, both are australian silvers i think..but i saw them in the pet store sharing one tank.. im just worried boiut them when they get a little bit bigger....

im just a college dude so i wont have any reds sometime soon! hehe!

2 on a small tank like that hmmm not a good idea maybe I'll get 3 and on a much bigger tank.

the dimensions of my tank is 4x1.5x1.5

their still pretty small, so i thought it'll do for a while...

also i just added a knife fish and 2 shrimbunkins...

i added the shrimbunkins so the arowanas have a target fish... think its ok?? i think their a little aggresive though... or maybe im just a paranoid!! hehe!!

2x silver arowanas 6"

1x clownknife 6"

2x shrimbunkins

oh,by the way, i think the 2 silvers i have are getting along... just a little fight here and there but no damaged scales or sorts...
