I was just wondering if 4 sevs could work in a 75g? The lfs has a brand new 75 for $75 and I was wondering if that's sutuble for life for 4 sevs. Have 2 juvy green sevs growing out and might get 2 rotkeils. Just wondering if that would work with some clown loaches and maybe a small pleco or sae's to clean algae. It would be with alot of plants, driftwood so plenty of hiding spots.

I would say you might be able to get away with 4 severums, may run into territorial disputes as they grow, and severums can get large, 2 severums for a 75 gallon would be ideal though.

thats funny you ask that question i just looked at some severums today they do get large as bluekiller82 stated i would also put only two in a 75gal.

it could work but as they grow it might be small but i mean try

would a 125g work? might also get one of those. But I love my green sevs and have already raised him from seriously like dime-nickel size to 2-3" and the are awesome tons of personality. And i think these with a school of cls would look awesome in a heavy driftwood and plant tank.

On another note are sevs plant eaters? I love the look of some plants and driftwood, and wondering if i do this will i lose my plants?

The sevs will love the plants as much as you do

That will definantly work. Some people think that plecos clean the tank, in contrary, that are poop machines, they poop out all algaes they sucked from the glass, gravel, and driftwood. so be aware of that.
