Had to move the gt from the 150 because it was getting seriously bullied by the motaguense pair to the point it couldnt eat and is now dangerousely underweight. They are a nasty pair they are torturing the 12" male jag even though they are smaller.

Anyway back to topic....
I have a 3" Jaguar x Dovii in a 40gallon, which is really aggressive and chasing the clown loaches all the time. I put the gt in here, so far so good, but i'm worried the jagovii will have been eaten by the time i wake up tomorrow.

the gt's mouth doesnt look that big at all and it has trouble swallowing a whole massivore pellet, but you would be worried to if it was your last jagovii from the one successful spawnings out of about 10.

So can a 5" Green Terror swallow a 3" Dovii?

good stuff, im happy about that

i doubt it

That was great!

I would imagine the GT would still get bullied! IMO it's a mellower cichlid that would do better with oscars, ACs, etc... Parachromis are better paired. Good luck with him!

i realise that now, and ye it will definately get bullied the little cross has some serious attitude. when it gets big enough (8"+) it will go in the 150 so the gt will have the 40 to itself...if it lasts that long

Put something in there to help the GT hide, if you don't already. I'd be more worried about it taking a beating from the smaller fish, as others have already suggested, than I would be about what it might do to the little wolf.

No. How could that be possible?

But the 3" Dovii might be able to swallow the 5" GT tho. jk
