I'm upgrading to a 75 gallon but just trading out the tanks, I know it will stick out but will it be okay? And it'll be up against a wall.
Also I didn't know where to put this so yea

The most pressure in a tank is on 4 the corners.
if you put it on a normal 50 gal stand, you will need to support the corners that aren't supported by the stand with something.

Those cheap (made not price) pine stands from the store are engineered to hold the weight of a 55gal not a 75gal. Water weighs roughly 8.34lbs per gallon...so your basically going 166.8lbs over the designed load that the stand was built to hold. Not good

You also want to support a tank around the perimeter or sides. You can build a stand for next to nothing with some 2x4's. My 2.5c
