? Can a Dovi and Black Nasty co exist?

Can I raise a P. Dovii (Wolf Cichlid) and a N. Haitiensis (Black Nasty)together?
TNK 125G JUST TO GROW THEM OUT! And then get another tank (225g) or bigger when I have to. I have never owned nether fish but I am real curious about the combo with maybe 2 C. Ocellaris(Peacock Bass). Let me know what MFK think.
 
well theirs a chance that one of the 2 will injure or kill your peacock bass but then again they are too fast for the dovii and the black nasty....but then their is also the chance with the dovii and the black nasty fighting...so just try it out when their young...

Yea you may be right.
 
Dovii will outgrown the slow growing Odoe and eventually kill it. Although, young Odoe's seem to be alot more aggressive from the start so that it may kill the Dovii....Either way, the bass are dead unless they are to big for dovii and nasty......Though, if to large, the bass would try to eat the little dovii and nasty.............soooooo, what im trying to say is, ummm, no.
 
The issue is with 2 cichlids of such size it could work, the problem is that Nasty's are super sensitive to bloat from stress, and a young Dovii most likley will cause that, trying to do it with adult fish is crazy......

as very small juviniles you may have some succses with both spieces together, but as they grow (dovii faster) one will definetly asserte dominance over the other, and my money is on the dovii, when this happens you'll have problems keeping the dovii with anything else.
