I was wondering if a jack Dempsey could live with an electric blue arca or would the Dempsey kill the arca

It depends what size tank you are keeping them in. I found EB acaras to be pretty aggressive. Much more so than my EBJD. I had to rehome them as they were nipping at most of my other fish. They didn't mess with the JD but he was much bigger than them.
