Not very knowledgeable on cichlds so looking for your guys help. If all these fish were 2"-2.5" could they share a tank? (without tank specs just a general attitude question):

5 silver dollars
3 clown loaches
1 red tail black shark
1 jack dempsy

could the jack dempsy work in this scenario or is it too aggressive to be kept with these fish? If it is impossible for him to live with these fish .. I will be looking for a top dweller that is able to exist with these fish so any suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I keep my JD with clown loaches and tiger barbs (smaller then silver dollars). My JD however did eat the red tail black shark - but that was my own fault, the red tail was a tad small and yeah, turned out to be an $8 feeder for the JD.

the tank is a 33 gallon grow out tank .. these fish will 95% chance be seperated into different tanks when they grow but I still like to display my growout tanks and have nice variety in them so wondering if this would work! In everyones opinion .. how long will these fish last together in this tank before they will need to be moved into another tank. (just a rough estimate)

also what would be the effect of adding a second JD to the equation? possibly taking the red tail out as well .. hes an in between pick for me so i dont mind leaving him out.

And I'd also like opinions of top dwellers that would suit this type of tank .. incase I change up some of the stock.
