Can a trimac vent lie?!?

Got new amph trimac and everything about it looks male and nothing looks female, but it's vent looks totally female. The fish is approximately 6". Your thoughts...

Did you ask it what it identifies as?

When I saw the video of Poseidon2.0 Trimac, I swore it was a male but its a female.

If it is not sexually mature (sorry I’m not sure when trimacs are mature) the venting process is difficult.
You could give it a few more months and a little more time to grow and try to vent again.
