When my TSN outgrows my 260G , I was thinking about building an indoor pond. I've seen Clown Knifes kept with Koi and was wondering how a TSN would do.

yup keep them all well fed, and make sure they are big enough.

Yeah I think taco has the right idea. I have about 15 feeder comets in the pond that I bought to cycle the water. I thought for sure they were gonna get eaten by the L. Pictus but he is well fed and they are actually geting bigger. Everyones been cool for like a month now. The pond is outside miami so the water is anywhere from 78-84 but most days it's 80-81. The owner of the LFS told me the pictus was eating feeders when he was in the store, haven't lost one yet, Miracle! So I would say good feeding leads to less atacks on other fish.

tsn do fine at 75 f. I keep my ponds at 72 f, and my hybrid, and largest tsn grow faster than anything lol. The tsn has always been at that temp. Never been sick, eats everyday, and has grown from 2 1/2" to 14" in not quite 6 months. The hybrid was at this temp for 1 year and 8 months so far and has added 12" since I got him when he was 22". That puts him at 34", but I think he is closer to 35" been a while since I have measured him. He's been eating non-stop, and growing like crazy since I moved into the new house.
