can africans be with tinfoil barbs

can y 1.5 inch african cichlids go with the same size tinfoil and maybe tiger barbs?

can go and be fine is too different things. In my experience keeping fish like this as target fish works, but you will lose them often...

I have had three tiger barbs in a predominately kenyi tank for about eight months and they have done fine. When I first put the barbs in the cichlids were about three inches and some have grown to be quite large and still no problems. Seems the barbs are quick enough to stay out of the way of the kenyi but distracting enough that they focus some aggresion off of my peacocks. Just make sure you have enough rockwork...
