i have a 4ft x 11" x 22" tank, but im stuck with what to fill it with.
im open to all suggestion even how extreme.

i was thinking about 2 big american cichlids but cant find 1 that i like too much.
can any1 help please.
ill answer any Qz if needed thank you

some whiptail cats, rainbow gudgeon, and maybe a couple of banded grunter?

Your tank is too small for even one "big American cichlid" let alone two.

Go with livebearerfreaks suggestion, it's right on.

4ft long and only 11" wide? that's an unfortunate footprint =\ can't really keep anything decent sized in that

i think the OP measured wrong. its a 55 gallon tank. Sevrum, firemouths, jack dempsey. I would go with a few firemoughts and a jd

NO jd.... to small for even a male by itself... 75 min for a male jack. just go with 1 sev ( rotkeil-green-red shoulder or any other kind *forgot the other names for them ) so here.
1 sev
1 firemouth
1 convict
8 to 10 danios for dithers.

get some cool geophagus. i have steindachneri- the males get 5 inchs max an the females only 4. awesome fish also. very strange behavior when courting an mating.

every body has jd's an fire mouths. get something a little less common. you will be happier in the long run.
