Looks like one of the altifrons complex to me, of which there are about 30 variants, some now considered valid species, and all strikingly similar in appearance.
A problem is that an aquarists might go to a LFS and purchase a "this or that" thinking that's what it is, but LFSs are notoriously erroneous with proper IDs, saying "oh that's promimus".because that's what the the importer may have had it listed as, when even they don't know. In reality the difference between one species(or vaient, might be which horizontal line, the mid body blotch might sit on, or if the blotch is light of dark, or periodically non-existent.
So unless you know the location where it was caught, such a Surinam as opposed to northern Brazil, or which rive in a certain area of Brazil, it's all just a guessing game.
I searched my old book South American Eartheaters, and found about 6 or 8 different species that would easily fit fish on the photo,

IMO it’s likely abalios but the fish is fairly washed out and some of the identifiable markings may not be showing. Altifrons and abalios both frequently get exported out of Colombia and are the most common ones found in the hobby, at least in North America.
