behind my iMac.... Southampton UK.
Hey guys, Im looking to place an order with Mike at H2O custom aquatics in NY, but im running into a mine field! i cant even find the application for a license on efishbussiness? nor the required cities paper work on there website as one fish is AUL.

If any one can help me that would be really apreahiated, if anyone wants to save me some hassel and import them for me as they have required license and experiance doing this then pm me and we can talk money.....

Thanks guys,
Nathan

Maybe the UK vendors might be able to help, dangerousdan will probably know something on ways to import

Thanks davo, I thought of that too, only dan always seems really busy and i find it hard enough to get a reply from him when i want to purchase something i dont see it fair to bog him down even more. and i dont wana piss him off as he has a lung fish listed i am trying to aquire at the mo too... T1 suggested HP low to contact too, i think that makes sense as AUL's are cities listed like asian aros (what hp specialises in...) but im lax to ask for help from people i dont know... i spent all day on the phone to the authorities and feel like ive spent the day wacking my head off a wall.... CITIES were just plan rude or three spereate occations and three different members of staff... i dont know, maybe its me????

There a couple of threads on this already. Go to the defra website, all the info including the application form are there, along with numbers if you need to phone. Is quite straight forward as long as they are tropical fish.

well in finally kinda got legible info from cities.... and its far from straight forward.....
Its not on defra its on efishbussiness website u apply for a license but even after i been given the name of the form i cant find it.... find a dead link that prob took u to the relevant section thou...?

and i can not find an old thread wit the relevant either...?

ok im on the right track now.... different day more helpful staff at both cities and cefas....

yeah safe i got there couple min ago... defra just bump u off these days if u ask them bout it.... cefas is the agency to talk to if anyone else ever needs to....

they also mentioned the rules for import are changing as of oct...

I see what you mean about the search. It doesnt seem to be as selective as it once was!
