i say female because its dorsal fin is half blueish black and half red which is a female trait for festae

You should be looking for a dark 'dot' with red/pearling ring around it on the dorsal fin... if it's female...

Your pics aren't the clearest so it's easier to explain to you what you are looking for.. then to stare at a blurry pic and give you my best guess...

Here's a pic of a female for you to compare

in just the last couple days it has been sporting the bands characteristic of a female, it is @ 4-5", I'm guessing yours is that size or smaller comparing it to the Lake Berman Tilapia in your pics. If it is, in a short time you will know for sure. Also check the profile, males usually have a less flat head slope, unless masquerading as a female because being housed with an alpha male.
