Can anyone confirm that my gar is a spotted?

thats what i thought also as it grew bigger.. but i dont see a 2nd row of teeth that gators normally have....

his got a great personality .. when he sees me walking to the tank he floats to his normal feeding spot waiting for food and he will eat anything... lets me pet him for the moment ..

definitely an alligator gar. you will see the second (prominent row, as all gars have a secondary row) row of teeth in the upper jaw if you open them up...will be quite clear--
