He eats a lot and other fishes don't have it. I dunno what up with my oscar. He has a lot of white stuff on his fins and some on his body

i take it i am looking at the tail fin?

mouth looks pugged also, what are your water perams running at?

my water is 0 amonia 0 nitrite and 0-5 nitrate.... water temp is at 30 celcius ph level is at 6.8

most of his fins specially his pectoral fins has white cottony stuff... it started with the pectoral fins and are now at the tail. you know how a chewed up super worms insides looks like? the stuff on his fins looks like that.

also his tail has a bit of damage, i'm not sure if it's caused by the other fishes but it looks like really tiny bites

no the med suggested is tank and fish safe,

its important to keep in mind, good water quality is the goal, meds may cure it but if water quality not kept up it will come back, same goes for fish stress, if fish being nipped and stressed there imune system takes hit, and can not fight these things off.

My problem with adding the meds straight to the tank is that it'd cost me a lot since my tank is 250 galons and I'm not sure if the meds are safe for rays

my water parameters have been great for months now... my ammonia/nitrite hasn't even reached 0.25 for atleast the past 6 months. I think the oscar was just sick before I got him into my tank, he's pretty new.

I will let others pipe in, better pic help, rays i have no experience with. Good luck! hope all works out alright.
