Earlier today I finished setting up the bio filter for my pond and have had it running for about four hours, I've noticed the lily leaves are 'collecting' very fine bubbles around them, it almost looks like I have a couple dozen sex crazed bettas in there.
My question is, is this normal? This is the third bio filter I've made (all for different ponds), but this is the only one that has done this.
Could the bubbles be caused by the pvc? This is the first time I've used pvc on any of my ponds. Or could it be coming from the lava rock?
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be affecting the fish, just doesn't look good.

And before anyone jumps me, this pond already had a filter system in it. It just wasn't big enough for the pond.

Thanks.......

If the pump is spraying air, the air may collect on objects. Otherwise, your plants could be pearling.
