Can anyone give me advise?

I am currently thinking of getting a new spinning reel size 1000-2500 for luring. i currently have a shimano sienna in mind.any other suggestions? my budget is only 40-70 only. thanks!!!

I've been fishing for 20 years, and have tried many reels. I still always fall back on my shimano reels.

Shimano is terrible for line twist on spinning reels, I do like them though as I have 3 (sahara, symmetre and solstace), but I would recommend either the pflueger president as stated above or the daiwa exceler (an excellent reel for the price i believe 60 bucks). Also if you go daiwa spend the extra money on the a-rb bearings, go with the sedona atleast, itll be worth it, cabelas has some cheap combo deals.

That's pretty much the only spinning reel I use, they work great! I have never used Shimano reels though, so I can't offer a comparison.

yeah they're quality, mine is the only freshwater spinning reel i still use for bass (went to the darkside of baitcasters and havent looked back haha)
