Sp #44... it never has the coloring the other two beautiful males have.. even though it is kept with both male and female africans.. i thought of adding it to the tank with the other two males.. i figure if it is a male.. should fit in okay with two other males.. but if it is a female may cause havoc.. so once more i would like your opinion.. one way or the other i am moving it from the present tank it is in.. seems to be getting a little rough..

lol!!! i meant to say your cichlid dose not look like my female. i will do my best, i have to do it tomorrow i shut the light off already, :)

Hard to say for sure...I think it could actually be a female...The egg spot doesn't look to have a black orbit around it but I can't tell for sure from the pic. Look at your males and see if their egg spots look different. Males will have a black orbit around them females won't.

thanks all ...and i will check orbit..

what made you think it was a male? If it were male it would have more color and darker stripes... Looks like a female to me...Have you ever tried putting it with the other males? can you mabye move it to the tank to test it out and if it is a female you will know by the males reaction. If it is female I am sure the males will immediately start pursuing her and you will know for sure then ;)
