can anyone ID this bottom dweller?

bought some ghost shrimp today and found this little fellow in the bag. Can anyone tell me what kind of fish this is? Definitely a bottom dweller. Thanks.

I was thinking some kind of darter.

darter. i used to have those as well. they like blood worms. pretty entertaining fish

I think it is an Etheostoma olmstedi aka tessellated darter.

i believe its a johnny darter i catch them alot in the river near by...i feed them to my fish n turtles

I don't think it is either of those. The pattern is all wrong for Etheostoma nigrum (aka Johnny Darter), and the mouth is too short for it to be a Percina caprodes (aka Log perch).
