Can anyone ID this Cichlid ?

Can anyone identify this Cichlid they grow to 26 inches + and are common in Queensland Australia, occasionaly taken on artificials, best targeted with worms. Any help appreciated.

greenterra this is what DPI&f describe them as, when you go through the references it is very confusing lots of pics look nothing like them, ie. Fishbase and descriptions vary some what. I was hoping to get some one who does not live in QLD to offer an opinion, no offence intended. I kill and dispose of every one I catch in the required manner.

It's for sure a tilapia species. Could be a hybrid of different tilapias though. They have been introduced in many parts of the world as food fish since they grow rapidly can adapt to various water conditions but often outcompete the native fish and over the past decate or more it has become apparent that it was not such a great idea to release them where they don't belong.
