it's a.... hybrid??

I keep telling people and yet these questions keep coming up. there's no way, NO WAY, we can know for sure without seeing the parents. the best we can do is guess.

why bother?
 
yea, i got him when he was around 1in, i was told he was a new strain of a kamfa, but i have searched and cant find another fish that looks him

Looks like a cross between a Trimac and Tex, but no way to really tell? Good looking though! :)
 
Just guess

In Thailand many will consider this as Kamfa. And this fish should have Flowerhorn + RT breed . Why RT . As his pearls on upper fin is not flowerhorn pearl.
 
i see RT in him, but it made be a hybrid of a hybrid... never know... either way he is beautiful so who cares what he is... one thing u kno for sure is that hes yours haha
 
thanks all, he was shipped from thailand, and as for the jewels,he seems to ignore smaller cichlids but he is very aggressive to fish closer his own size,he has killed a couple of female flowerhorns that i thought he was getting along with overnite.
