Can anyone ID this Paratheraps/Veija?

LFS had it marked as a Red Texas. The manager sells me mislabelled fish at cost so I grabbed him. I'm not so experienced w/ Viejas so I thought I would enlist MFKers to assist in IDing. Please excuse the poor shots, I took them during acclimation.

the real question is.... how the hell did he have THAT labeled as a RED texas!? bwahahahahahhaaha, one of my lfs does that all the time, its ridiculous, the manager actually told me that he has NEVER heard of a polypterus, tulip eels, or even lung fish

I know. goes with the territory i guess. The cool thing about LFSs like these that, if you know what's what you can find some interesting stuff from time to time.
